Yes, I'm painting again after all these years. Why? Because a good friend (and far better painter than I will ever be) talked me into participating in a plein air event last summer sponsored by a local gallery. It was a stubbornly foggy day, but also a good deal of fun. I like fun . . .
And I still cannot resist "making things" in more than one dimension. Check out my solo exhibition which runs through November 13, 2024, in the River Room at the River Arts Gallery in Damariscotta, Maine. It features several new mixed media pieces as well as functional wall art.
Work in mixed-media exploring the things we value, hold dear and revere as sacred. First piece, The Offering, as shown at the River Arts Gallery in Damariscotta, Maine in November, 2023.
A chair and a game table. Both are in the design stage.
