Making paper by hand is an elemental process that is hugely satisfying. I'm not sure where it's going to lead but I'm all in. Take a peek at the Group Exhibition 2026 page for samples of recent work.
I've put painting on the back burner for now but I am considering trying my hand at watercolor, something I've avoided my entire life as completely above my pay grade, i.e., my skill level. I honestly think it's the most difficult thing you can do in the art world, I mean there aren't any "do-overs," and boy do I need do-overs! Anyway I suppose it's only natural given the handmade paper thing, so we'll see how this goes.
This work in mixed-media explores the things we value, hold dear and revere as sacred. The first piece, The Offering, is shown below. The second piece, Onward Christian Soldiers, examines our confusion over guns and Christian values. Work on the series resumes later this spring.
