Selected works

We are surrounded every day by objects large and small.  Some are quite useful, like the chairs we sit on, the beds we sleep in and the boxes in which we stash our stuff. Others are merely decorative, pleasing to look at or with interesting surfaces begging to be touched. Creating these things using a variety of processes and materials usually makes for a very happy day.

I love books. I read them. I write them (one anyway). I collect them.  Making them by hand is an exacting art.  Reparing and restoring the old ones is an incredible privilege.
